The ability to correctly interpret an electrocardiogram (ECG) is a vital skill used in all critical care areas.

GMS is pleased to offer three workshops for health care professionals wanting to improve their ECG interpretation skills.

The Six Second ECG (basic 3-lead)

This one day workshop serves as an excellent introduction to ECG interpretation for novices or as a refresher for more experienced providers. Exercises and discussions cover common arrhythmias and ECG disorders while fostering an understanding of the cardiac system and the significance of various ECGs.  read more »

The 12-Lead ECG

This dynamic one day workshop focuses on two related skill sets: 12-lead ECG interpretation and the assessment and management of acute coronary syndromes. The student will learn to differentiate between a normal ECG, normal ECG variants, and pathologic changes.

3 Lead and 12 Lead ECG

This workshop reviews 3-lead interpretation for the 20 most common cardiac rhythms, as well as 12-lead ECG interpretation and the assessment and management of acute coronary syndromes.
